He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Louis and Barbara Goodman (Garner); his wife Debra K. Bass; his sisters, Carolyn Goodman and Susan Gillies; and his nephew Robert.
He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Goodman of Decatur and Matthew Goodman of Decatur; his granddaughter Riley A. Goodman; his siblings, Linda Bundy (Jim) of Decatur and Mark Goodman of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Bernie Gillies and Kathy Emory (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
