Though Dennis James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dennis James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Williams, Jr.; his brother Eugene Williams; and his stepfather Richard Campbell. He is survived by: his children, Rachel Newingham (Jason) of Decatur, IL and Michael Williams of San Diego, CA; his mother Mabel Williams-Campbell (Biggerstaff) of Calhoun; his siblings, John Williams (Karen) and Melissa Campbell; and his former wife Annette Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Richland Cemetery (4988 E Calhoun Ln, Calhoun, IL 62419).
