He is survived by: his children, Tracy Deniel Sumpter (Dewey Sharp) of Stonington, IL, Michelle Harvey (Christopher L.) of Moweaqua, IL, Sheri Sue Sumpter of Decatur, IL and Denise Lynn Sumpter of Decatur, IL; and his brother Larry Sumpter of Decatur, IL.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
