He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Harvey Horath and Madelia Marie Horath (Roberts); and his siblings, Virginia, Floyd and Gale.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie D. Koontz; his children, Lorie Smith (Keenan), Bryan Horath (Julie) and Kevin Horath (Kathy); his grandchildren, Tiffany Muller (Aldo), Keanne Burt (Jarrod), KJ Smith, Kalie Bone (Ben), Bryan Jordan Horath (Libby), Breanna Davis (Cody) and Camden Horath; and his sister Joan Miller. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hillside Bethel Ministries (3575 E Greenhill Rd, Decatur, IL 62521).
Memorials in honor of Reverend Horath may be made to Hillside Bethel Ministries, continuing the legacy of a life spent lifting up the name of Jesus.
