He was predeceased by: his parents, James Armstrong and Lela America Rector (Upchurch); his wife Pamela Jean Erickson (Sandy); and his siblings, Virginia Stevens, Vela McBride, Maxine Meece, Mary Lou Strain and Jim Rector.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Rector of Decatur, IL and Cassi Wildman (Mike) of Oakley, IL; his granddaughters, Kaitie Mumm (Garrett) of Camby, IN and Erin Woollen (Cody) of Oakley, IL; his sisters, Doris McHugh of Coolidge, AZ and Linda Duffin of Hoopeston, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Duffin of Hoopeston and Kathy Erickson of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Don's memorial to any veteran's charity or the donor's choice.
