Doris Belcher Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2025, at the age of 92, Doris Belcher of Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton J. Morse and Isla M. Morse (Sill); her husband Edgar "Lyle" Belcher; her siblings, Richard, Fred, Jack, Harry, John, Rose Parks and Jean Brennan; her sons-in-law, Dave Oldham and Randel Harper; and her stepgrandson Richie Harper.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Oldham of Decatur, IL, Sheila Harper (Richard) of Oakley, IL and Sandra Harper of Glasgow, KY; her brothers, Lou Morse (Barb) of Oakley, IL and Tom Morse (Michele) of Decatur, IL; her grandchildren, Jason Harper, Holly Burgess of Glasgow, KY and Daniel Harper of Oakley, IL; and her stepgranddaughter Tessie Harper (Jeff DeLaurentis) of Decatur, IL. She is also survived by five great-granddaughters, two step great- grandsons, and three great-great grandchildren.
