He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Brewer and Kate Brewer (Carter); his spouse Winagene Brewer; his granddaughter Nicole Agnew; and his former wife Carolyn Inez Wright.

He is survived by: his children, Theresa Dawn Maue (Nick) of Wentzville, MO, Dana Covey of Sterling, IL and Curtis Brewer (Lori); his grandchildren, Daniel Maue of Wentzville, MO, John Maue (Ashley) of Troy, MO, Benjamin Covey of Ottawa, IL, Isabella Covey of Milwaukee, WI, Hayley Creath of Rogers, AR and Lindsay Creath of Decatur, IL.; and his friend Mary Margaret Robinson.
