He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo Therese Schanuel (Craig Bulla) of Bloomington, IL, Warren Joseph Schanuel of Decatur, Joseph Edward Schanuel (Marcella) of Decatur and Ann Jolene Schanuel of Decatur; and his grandchildren, Cynthia Weingart Kwasnik (Matthew), Lisa Weingart (Mike Tinsley), Michael Mitchell (Amanda), Marcus Mitchell (Janice), Kyle Schanuel and Chase Schanuel (Rebecca). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and many friends.
