With sadness, we share the passing of Eileen Loretta Mose (Decatur, Illinois). Eileen, born on April 21, 1936, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell J. Evans and Mabel Evans (Risinger); her husband George Mose; her daughter Edith Waldrop (Reed); and her great grandchild Kelsea.
She is survived by: her sons, Jacob Reed and Daniel Reed (Audray); her grandchildren, Brandon Reed, Kevin Waldrop, Timothy Waldrop, Rebecca Davis (Brian) and Arthur Keller; her close friend May; and her daughter Eileen (George). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Central Baptist (1275 Mt Gilead Rd, Decatur, IL 62521). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Point Pleasant Cemetery (2901-3299 S Point Pleasant Rd, Long Creek, IL 62521).
