He was predeceased by: his sister Identry Ligon. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Michael Ligon of Decatur, IL, Linda Ligon of Decatur, IL and Timothy Ligon of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Tony Knotts of Decatur, IL., Tierra Ligon of Springfield, IL, Brandon Ligon of Bloomington, Dartavious Ligon of Bloomington and Desiree Ligon-Beverly of Bloomington, IL.; and his great grandchildren, Tayshon Ligon, Amarion Ligon, Navaeh Ligon, La'Nyiah Ligon and Rihanna Ligon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the North Jasper Street Church of Christ (950 N Jasper St, Decatur, IL 62521). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
