She is survived by: her daughter Syreeta Williams (Sidney "Lamar"); her mother Ethel Murphy; her grandchildren, Lamontie Williams, Aiden Williams, Zoie Williams, Tasia Creason, Jasean Creason, Sidney "Xavier" Williams and Jeremiah Williams; and her siblings, Freddie Murphy, Earthy Murphy Jr. (Serlene), Gloria Perry, John Murphy (Ruthie), James Murphy (Michelle), George "Willie" Murphy (Latoya), Arthur Murphy (Ethel), Gineaster Webb, Curtis Murphy (Debba), Roger Murphy (Donna), Virginia Murphy, Elizabeth Reed (Herman), Jay D. Murphy (Latonya), Andrew Murphy (Leslie) and Samuel Murphy (Tamesha).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral & Chapel - North (790 E Mound Rd, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
