We bid farewell to Evelyn Taylor of Decatur, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 27, 2025 at the age of 89. Evelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorse Rogers and Catherine Rogers (Watson); her daughter Melanie Beth Taylor; her brothers, Joe Rogers and Paul Rogers; and her brother-in-law Leonard Haslett.

She is survived by: her husband Dick of Decatur; her daughters, Michelle Sauder (Jay) of Roanoke, IL, Melissa Rock (Steve) of LeRoy, IL and Megann White (Merlin) of Mt. Zion, IL; her grandchildren, Crystal Sauder, Gretchen Borth (Daniel), Lane White, Bryce White and Colin White; her siblings, Jack Rogers (Marilyn) of Sullivan, IL, Marilyn Haslett of Mattoon, IL, Leah Beth Austin (Kent) of Marion, IL, Lois Gillespie (Ronnie) of Forsyth, IL and Cathy Flowers (Red) of St. Elmo, IL; her sisters-in-law, Linda Foley and Tammy Rogers; her aunt Janice Niemeyer; and her uncle Max Watson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
