He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Max Born and Mary Eileen Born (Walker); his daughter Heather Born Lynch; and his siblings, Chris Jimison, Bonnie Edwards, Merlin Max Born, Jr. and Ronnie Morey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Born (Dorothy), Theresa Kraft (Darrell) and Connie Nance; and his siblings-in-law, Dean Jimision and Linda Born. He is also survived by his granddaughter, two great granddaughters.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Barb's and Adam's Apple (421 N 22nd St, East St Louis, IL 62205).
