He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcom Hendricks and Oleta Hendricks (Hawkins); his granddaughter Tori Henry; and his sister Patty. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hendricks of Decatur; his children, Laura Livingston (Chad) of Palmetto, FL and Ira Hendricks (Jen) of Cool, CA; his stepchildren, Sherri Colvard (David) of Loudon, TN and Joshua Henry (Jamie) of Spain; his grandchildren, Sarah, Sky, Salem, Britney, Caleb and Madison; his great grandchild Liliana Harper; his brother John Hendricks; and his pet Spunky.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Free Will Baptist Church (2709 N 27th St, Decatur, IL 62526). A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Township Cemetery (725 Woodland Dr, Mt Zion, IL 62549).
