She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Sam and Bertha Mae Roberts (Patton); her husband Clarence J. Joyner Sr.; and her sons, Clarence (Skippy), Preston, Anthony and Vincent Joyner.
She is survived by: her children, James Jarrett of Decatur, Patrick Joyner Sr. (Tina) of Decatur, Heather Joyner of Decatur and Tidus Joyner (Megan Walters) of Las Vegas, Nevada.; her daughters-in-law, Vevlyn and Delana Joyner of Decatur, Illinois; and her close friend Vivian Penermon. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
