He is survived by: his wife Susie (Sexton); his children, Shannon Dean Gilbert (Lori), Kristi Venters (Lee) and Robin Kleist (Jim) of Decatur, IL; his grandsons, Zachary (Amanda), Joshua (Alicia) and Benjamin Gilbert (Hallie) of Forsyth, IL; his daughters, Macie, Mylee Venters, Makenzie (Jared) and Kaylee Kleist of Decatur, IL; his great grandchildren, Bentley and Michael Gibert; and his brother Harold "Hap". He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
