He is survived by: his wife Gloria Works; his children, Darrell Works (Robin), Stephanie Works, Pamela Helm (Hassan), Kendra Patterson, Jr. and Bond; his sister Genevieve Adams (David); his sister-in-law Ethel Works; his aunt Dollie Banks; his grandchildren, Kyler Works, Raevn Works, Damien Law, Darius Newbern (Ravon), Olivia Hodges, Tahja Works, Ciara Wilder, Keemyia Works, Brylan Helm (Alison), Breyanna Helm, Darien Patterson Jr. and Karrine Patterson; and his close friends, Johnnie Ricks and Pat Dawson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
