She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Wilson Douglas and Iva Douglas (Palmer); her husband Richard D. Hadix; her stepmother Ruth Wilson; and her brother John Wilson Douglas III.
She is survived by: her foster daughter Mary Hicks; and her aunt Margaret Hazelton. She is also survived by several cousins; and many extended family members and friends.
