He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Buoy and Edith Buoy; his wife Regina; his close friend Sharon; his granddaughter Vicki; and his son-in-law Mike Jestis.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Watkins (Chuck), Karen Jestis and Howard Buoy Jr. (Anita). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, five great, great grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.

Howard will be missed by all that knew him both directly and indirectly through his contributions to the community.
