With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jan William Wagoner Sr. of Decatur, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wagoner and Lois Wagoner; and his daughter Mindy L. Wagoner. He is survived by: his wife Marie of Decatur; his children, Jan W. Wagoner, Jr. (Tiffany) of Decatur, Monica Wagoner-Hamilton (Chris) of Eldorado Springs, MO and Jeff Wagoner (Kelly) of Blue Mound; and his siblings, John Wagoner, Jr. (Cindy), Debbie Railsback, James Wagoner (Carol), Jerry Wagoner (Becky) and Denise Moore (Lyle). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (3770 N Water St, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
