Janet Wilms Munger Obituary

We announce the death of Janet Wilms Munger (Decatur, Illinois), who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 84. Janet will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Janet will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Wilms and Daisy Wilms (Shipp); her husband Ken; and her sister Jacqueline Wilms Tucker. She is survived by: her daughter Kari Michalek; her son-in-law Richard Michalek; her granddaughters, Taylor Schultz (Isaiah) and Emersyn Michalek; and her great grandchild Ronan Kenneth Schultz.
