It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Scott Matthews of Decatur, Illinois, born in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Bill Matthews. He is survived by: his mother Karen Matthews (Harrison); his wife Tami; his brother Mike Matthews (Sandy); his niece Stephanie Godines (David); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aubrey, Brayden, Adrianna and Jessica Matthews; his sister Mindy Provenzano (Bill); his nephews, Colton Provenzano (Judy) and Blake Provenzano; Blakley.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tabernacle Church (1845 W Hovey Ave, Normal, IL 61767).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Tabernacle Church.
