With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan D. Willis of Decatur, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amal L. Dunn and Bessie L. Dunn (Hare); her former husband Floyd E. Turner; her husband James R. "Jim" Willis; and her siblings, Harold, Donnie, Brad, Keith, Barbara and Vonnie.
She is survived by: her children, Lynette Tate (Roger), Leon Turner (Rita), Cheryl Peters, Kathy Allen and Tony Turner (Sherry); her grandchildren, Angela Reish, Amy Skelton (Greg), Kelly Kuhn (Zach), Jason Turner, Melissa Fasnacht (Brent), Keith Tate, Megan Turner (Craig Karnes), Karen Tate, Chad Turner (Abby), Jessica Villa (Josh) and Shelby Allen; her brothers, Frank Dunn (Judy) and Jay Dunn (Cheryl); and her sister-in-law Barb Dunn. She is also survived by her 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Make a Wish Foundation, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
