She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Chambers and Mae Chambers (Mullinax); her husband Phillip Tinch; and her brother-in-law Bing Baker. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Bennett of Vista, CA and Michael Tinch (Kristen) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Christopher Hopkins (Jessica), Bethany Kelley (Ben), Jesse Tinch (Katrina) and Allison Tinch; her great grandchildren, Cole, Christian, Jackson Hopkins, Gregory, Luke, Annie, Josphine Kelley and Kaia Tinch; and her sister Paula Baker.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Millikin University in Decatur, IL, honoring Joan's lifelong commitment to education.
