She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Edward Gist and Emma Gist (Minikin); her husband Alfred Eugene Born; her daughter Paula Joanne Fields; and her great grandchild McKinlee Born.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Hefley of Decatur, IL; and her great grandchildren, Emma Mast, Chloe Musick and Na'Kyla Born. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
