He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bennyhoff and Margaret Bennyhoff (Crenshaw); his son Johnny; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Joan Grace of Decatur; and his daughters, Susan Skeffington (John) of Decatur and Ann Callahan (Dennis) of St. Louis. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2400 S Franklin Street Rd, Decatur, IL 62521). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (1261 W Eldorado St, Decatur, IL 62522).
