With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Harry Margias of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Margias and Ruth Margias (Bork); and his wife Kathleen Moran. He is survived by: his siblings, Ann Brown, Patricia Dalluge, George Margias, Norma Von Behren (Kervin) and Pete Margias; his nephew Brian Moran; and his cousin Mike Reynolds (Karen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
