He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Gene Lewis and Mary Ann Lewis (Kasting); his son Mathew Michael Lewis; and his stepson Sean Moore. He is survived by: his daughters, Lora Ford (Jeremy) of Daphne, AL and Maris Bruner (Brayden) of Atlanta, IL; his stepdaughter Sarah Danbury of Durham, NC; his grandchildren, Aven Horrom, Mayla Horrom and Mallory Fletcher; and his siblings, Rick Lewis (Jenn) of Bridgeport, CT and Elizabeth "Beth" Bush of Decatur, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home (2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526).
