He is survived by: his children, Mark Mitchell (Nan) and Marcia Beckett (Bob) of Mt. Zion; his grandchildren, Courtney Beckett of Decatur, Douglas and Daniel Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Brianna May, Kyle Aubert, Kolton Beckett, MacKayle Mitchell, Tori Thomas, Melody Mitchell, Anderson Thomas, Mazey Mitchell, Christopher Hooker, Kaedence Hooker and Mason Mitchell; and his great great grandchildren, Willow, Freya, Fallon and Kaysen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
