John Stickles Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Stickles of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Stickles and Cleda Belle Stickles Sr. (Hoxsey); and his wife Wanda Jane Gandy. He is survived by: his daughter Diana Olson of Decatur; his sisters, Darlene Hale (Herman) and Susan Zientera (Jerry); his nieces, Patricia Vaughan (Eric) and Becki Sadomytschenko (John); and his close friends, Kathy Steimel, Terry Stewart, Diana Garner, Joe Drone, Jeff Drone, Kelly Watts, John, Fran Tonsor, Rhett Hensler and Brooke Coverstone.
