We announce the death of Josephine Odeneal (Decatur, Illinois), who passed away on June 3, 2026, at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Jackson Odeneal (Sonny) and Amanda Ellree Odeneal; her siblings, Delores E. McCrory, Gloria J. Williams, Nelson P. Odeneal, Ernest D. Odeneal and Michael E. Odeneal; and her grandson Bryant M. Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Y. Jones; her aunt Gladys Odeneal; her nieces, Luvenia Williams (Kaye) and Lisa E. Freeman; and her close friends, Lynne, Tom Hutchinson, Debra Holmes and Betina Logan. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
