It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy L. Miller (Decatur, Illinois), born in Rabbit Hash, Kentucky, who passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shannon and Lula May Shannon (Chowning); her husband Orville J. Miller, Jr.; her child Baby Miller; and her siblings, James, Willard, Millie, Velma and Albert.
She is survived by: her children, Nichole Miller of Decatur, Vicki, Tori Tilton (Tim) of Sorento, Illinois and Sam Miller of Avon Park, Florida; her grandchildren, Jacob, Leah Mattox (Christopher), Anna, Hope, Esther and Zoe Tilton of Sorento, Illinois; and her great grandchild McKenzie Marburger of Panama, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
