We are sad to announce that, on January 28, 2026, at the age of 88, Karon G Lawson of Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Wilke and Jean Taylor Wilke (Gay); and her husband LeRoy Lawson. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Levandoski (Chuck) of Decatur, Bill Lawson (Lori) of Lincoln, Susy Simpson (Pat) of Greenup, Lesa Stearns (Scott) of Bloomington and Mike Lawson (Bridget) of Downs; and her siblings, Joanlee Langone, Sharon Wilke and Roger Wilke (Joyce). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
