He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie C. Nicholson and Kathlean Hamilton; and his brother George Nicholson. He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Bailey (Leonard), Byron Banks, Millie Watson, Angela Nicholson, Darius Nicholson, Cynthia Nicholson and Kimberly Nicholson; his siblings, Bertha Harris, Shirlean Nicholson, Carlean Nicholson, Gloria Dixon, Johnnie Fykes (Larry), Gladys Klingerman (David), Bornell Nicholson, Ronell Nicholson and Elizabeth Nicholson; and his niece Brenda Dugger. He is also survived by grandchildren, one uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
