It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Lynette Brandis of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Sloan and Elma Sloan (Pinkley); her husband Joseph "Joe" Brandis; her siblings, Arthur Earl Sloan and Marsha Riggleman; and her aunt Bette Anderson.
She is survived by: her stepson James Brandis; her siblings, Kathy Tull (Frank Thomas) of Thomasboro, IL, Larry Sloan (Cheryl) of Rantoul, IL, Rodger Sloan (Debbie) of Leesburg, FL, Bill Sloan (Kathy) of Urbana, IL and Holly Tarter of Kansas, IL; and her cousin James Anderson of Decatur. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
