With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loren L. Thompson of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thompson and Vera Thompson (Kater); his wife Loretta G. Johnson; his children, Tracy Thompson and Toni Bakunas; his brother Ron Thompson; and his granddaughter Paige Stovall.
He is survived by: his daughter Joni Long (Matthew) of Decatur, IL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
