It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle William Brisch of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brisch and Melba Brisch (Anderson); his spouse Beverly Ann Logue; his siblings, John, Billy, Shirley, Esther, Roberta and Loretta; and his nephews, Kerry and Jeff.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diana Hotwick of Mt. Zion and Kathryn Wilder of Decatur; his stepchildren, Shelly, Shane, Kimberly and Dea; and his grandchildren, Allyson Hotwick, Devin Wilder, Benjamin Hotwick, Lasasha Wilder and Braxton Wilder. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home (2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
