It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda A. Taylor of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Elizabeth Whitacre (Harris) and John Whitacre; and her son-in-law Jeffrey Lynn Coss (Andi Whitacre). She is survived by: her husband Carter Taylor of Decatur; her daughters, Michelle Foster (Rick Blacet) of Decatur and Lisa Taylor-Coss of Niantic; her grandchildren, Lynsey Foster, Dylan Coss, Paige Coss and Justin Coss; her great grandchildren, Kayden Hurt and Karlee Lofland; and her brothers, Larry Whitacre (Beatrice) and John Whitacre Jr. (Ruth) of Republic, MO.
