Margaret Evans Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Evans of Decatur, Illinois, born in Chatham, New Jersey, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Meissner and Elizabeth Meissner; and her grandson Daniel Evans. She is survived by: her sons, Larry (Wendy) of Missoula and Ron (Ginger) of Decatur; her grandsons, Phil (Catie) and Ken (Laura); her son Don (Helen) of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Micaela (Peter), Holly (Randy), Grace (Drew) and Luke; her son Steve (Nancy) of Phoenix; and her grandchildren, Sara (Caleb) and Ben (Lindsey). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
