She is survived by: her significant other Don (Donald Shroyer); and her children, Gail Krueger (John), Doug (Tjode), Chris (Jeana) and Beth Shroyer. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and their spouses and nine great grandchildren.

Memorials can be directed to the Marilyn Shroyer Scholarship Fund at Millikin University.
