He is survived by : his daughter Samantha Baker (Paul) of Decatur; his brothers, James "Skip" Slaughter (Dolores) of Hinsdale, IL and Phillip "Bullsey" Slaughter (Betty) of Mattoon, IL; his sister-in-law Sharon Slaughter; his grandchildren, Mariah, Markus, Pierson and Adley; and his great grandchild Hazel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
