With sadness, we share the passing of Michael McGorray Edie of Decatur, Illinois. Michael, born on May 4, 1944, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Edie and Mary Ann Edie (McGorray); and his sister Colleen Edie Delgado. He is survived by: his wife Susan Rebok of Decatur; his daughter Jennifer Goveia (Chad) of Bloomington; his sister Patricia High (Stephen) of Bonita Springs, FL; his nephews, Brad High (Alane Anderson) and Jeff High (Kris); his great-niece Taylor High; his great-nephew Sebastian High; and his brother-in-law Sam Delgado.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home - Decatur (2827 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
