With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michelle Annette Stewart of Decatur, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Nicole Bechtel; her brothers, Jeff Coventry and Jack Coventry Jr.; and her parents, Carolyn Black and Jack Coventry.

She is survived by: her sons, Corey Bechtel and Colin Bechtel; her granddaughters, Abriella and Adaline Corman of Warrensburg, IL; and her siblings, Jon Duden of Watseka, IL, Michael Soules of Raleigh, NC and Angela Black of Austin, TX..

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Michelle's honor to cancer research organizations.
