She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Leroy and Nellie Landacre (Sidwell); her husband Leo J. Howard; and her siblings, Imogene Ewing, Mary Etta Lourash, Eilene Limes, Gladys "Peggy" Jordan and Nelson Landacre.
She is survived by: her children, L. Joseph "Joe" Howard, Jr. (Judy) of Springfield, IL and Lenore K. Howard of Decatur; her granddaughter Sarah Smithson (Anthony) of Hillsborough, NC; and her great grandchildren, Alex and Leo.
