He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Kier of Decatur; his nephew Brant Trent of Mt. Zion; his grandchildren, Pamela Daily (Brent) of Cerro Gordo, IL, Troy Kier (Christina) of Hillsboro, MO, Christopher Kier (Jennifer) of Mt. Zion and Andrea Trent (Chris Lewis) of Decatur, IL; his great grandchildren, Kadelyn Walker (Tyler) of Oakley, IL, Peyton Daily, Bradley Kier of Bristol, IN, Callee Kier of Hillsboro, MO, Tucker Kier of Hillsboro, MO, June Kier of Mt. Zion, IL, Cooper Kier of Hillsboro, MO, Mckayla Lewis of Decatur, IL and Christopher Lewis of Decatur, IL; his great great grandchildren, Brynnlee Daily of Argenta, IL and Jordy Walker of Oakley, IL; and his nieces, Beverly Palmer, Connie Baker (Larry) and Lee Markwell (Les).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Second Church of God (2670 E Division St, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Point Pleasant Cemetery (2901-3299 S Point Pleasant Rd, Long Creek, IL 62521).
