She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvis J. Spence and Eva Spence (Delap); her daughter Brenda K.; her great grandchildren, Korbin Garrett and Jordan Garrett; and her siblings, Jearl Dean Spence, Lloyd H. Aud and Martha Trout.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Garrett; and her children, Evelyn R and Ronald D. Garrett. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Brenda K. Garrett Scholarship Fund at Richland Community College.
