He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Newberry; and his son Phillip, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Sherry (Carlos), Cindy Boyd (Cameron) of Old Town, FL, Karl "Brent" (Alane) of Decatur, IL and Suzanne of Decatur, IL.; his grandchildren, Daniel Boyd and Christian Worthington; and his sister Beverly Goddard of Dix, IL.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his spiritual family.
