He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lucius Redding and Harriet Verna Redding (Ray). He is survived by: his son Ray Lucius Redding, Jr. (Sheri) of Decatur, IL; his extended family, Brian and Zoe Baker of Las Vegas, NV; and his nieces and nephews, Malia Collier (Tim), Audrey Fleener (Tony), Hariette Holmes (Terry), Renee Downey (Kendal), Max Lucas (Cheri), Bobby Randolph and Laverne Bell. He is also survived by one step grandchild and three step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Star of Hope Chapel in Graceland Cemetery (2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
