It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Hedrick of Decatur, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, August Hedrick and Nora Mae Colburn Hedrick; and his siblings, Carl, George, Robert, Mary Hedrick and Lillian Vowels.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kane; his daughter Renee Hedrick of Decatur; and his siblings, Kenneth Hedrick of Decatur, IL and Eva Pauline Nichols of Springfield, IL. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
