He was predeceased by: his parents, William Myers and Idella Myers (Kincaid); his wife Cheryl Weaver (Lanter); his siblings, William Clyde Myers, Elizabeth Stollard and Peggy Myers; and his nieces, Tammison Stollard and Peggy Sue Holman.
He is survived by: his son Darren Myers (Susan) of Lake Wylie, SC; his close friend Carol Tobias of Decatur; his granddaughters, Audrey Leihser (Trevor Hoban) and Morgan Myers; and his great grandchild Mila Jones.
Memorials may be made to the Long Creek United Methodist Church, or the Macon County Humane Society, or the Arbor Day Foundation.
